What is the CIADA? The CIADA is the only non-profit organization in the Carolinas that represents the independent used car dealer. We serve both the dealer, as well as vendors who serve our industry through memberships or sponsorships. CIADA encourages those who are considering joining our association to know that we will be your representation, be your source for all education needs, and will provide you with individual help or guidance. REPRESENTATION: The CIADA meets regularly with DMV representatives from both North and South Carolina to discuss issues that directly impact your dealership. We monitor both states' General Assembly to advocate for and fight on your behalf against potential legislation that impacts your dealership and the used car industry.
EDUCATION: We are your source for Pre-Licensing and Continuing Education requirements. We also provide workshops, seminars, and compliance updates so that you can stay informed about the industry. If you sign up for our Pre-Licensing class then we will give you a FREE year's membership with us! Not to mention, our Pre-Licensing class won a national award for excellence and is recognized as "the Cadillac of dealer education programs”. If you are a member with us your required Continuing Education in person is complimentary. Don't want to show up in person and rather take it online? Perfect! As a member, you will receive a discounted price for the online class, if not a member we can still help you satisfy the state regulations!
INDIVIDUAL HELP: Don't suffer in silence. You don't have to be alone in an ever-changing and challenging industry. Qualified and experienced staff, help find out answers to your questions.
