John Brown

Executive Director

John brings a wealth of business and non-profit experience to his new position with a long and accomplished history in business, philanthropy and government relations as a trusted advisor to elected officials, corporate and non-profit executives. John most recently was Executive Director of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. John was previously associated with the Greater Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, served as President of the Arvin Foundation, and worked for Vice President George H. W. Bush and the Reagan-Bush Re-election Committee. John’s experience also includes working for one of the top OEM and aftermarket suppliers to the automotive industry in the world, Arvin and Arvin Meritor; EDS while it was owned by GM and one of the most valuable brands in the world, Rolls-Royce.

Catherine Neely

Catherine joined CIADA in 1998 and have been referred to as “The Center of the Spoke” and the “Queen Bee” for this organization.  She has served as Interim Executive Director on two occasions and wears many colorful “hats” in her role as the Association’s Administrative Director.  In this role she is responsible for being the office manager, building and grounds maintenance supervisor, bookkeeper for the Association’s insurance agency, auction form sales coordinator, Association form sales manager, membership administrator, website manager, convention and meeting planner, proofreader, VIP auction discount card manager, electronic systems coordinator, database manager, and repairs and maintenance technician, to mention just a few.

Catherine enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her sugar gliders (tiny exotic pets), going to the beach, and riding anywhere with her husband on their Harley Davidson Motorcycle!

Lisa Kluttz

Lisa came to CIADA in 2003.  She is primarily responsible for making sure when you call CIADA, that the phone is answered and your  call is directed to the right person or department.  She also assists with Continuing Education and Pre-Licensing Education class information and registrations; taking forms and CE-TV orders; assisting with class materials preparation, updating information in our member database, and processing OFAC checks.

Julia Rogers

Julia joined CIADA at the beginning of 2011 as CIADA’s Controller.  Julia relocated to the Carolina’s from Texas with her husband.  Along with Julia’s financial responsibilities Julia can assist members in various ways including taking form orders, providing receipts and confirming payments

Leslie Waslo

Leslie joined the CIADA in 2007 and is responsible for  Dealers Risk and Insurance Services (DRIS).  DRIS is a full-service insurance agency within the CIADA.  Call Leslie if you have would like DRIS to provide you with a competitive quote for your Dealer Bond and insurance needs.  Leslie also handles all;  renewals, policy changes, mailings, billings and all the things in-between.

Jayne Harris

Jayne  has been a member of the CIADA staff since 2003.  Call Jayne to sign up for a class, order CETV, order forms, or if you lost your education certificate and need another copy. Jayne coordinates all class preparation, class sign in cards, class certificates & class follow-up. Jayne  will also process OFAC search requests, prepare and ship UPS CETV orders, process, fax and mail CETV certificates.

Angel Long

Angel joined the CIADA in 2011 and serves as an assistant to Leslie for Dealers Risk and Insurance Services (DRIS).  Angel handles renewals, policy changes, mailings and billings.   She hopes to make your experience with CIADA as educational, practical and as helpful as she can.
